About Us
Our Market
The Barn Artisan Market was established in January 2020 (originally as the Whole Earth Market), and focuses on local vendors with handcrafted, created, and made in Alberta products. We host one Market each month, usually on the fourth Sunday from 11 am - 4 pm. We also host two night markets during the summer. We have two floors, featuring
The Barn Artisan Market was established in January 2020 (originally as the Whole Earth Market), and focuses on local vendors with handcrafted, created, and made in Alberta products. We host one Market each month, usually on the fourth Sunday from 11 am - 4 pm. We also host two night markets during the summer. We have two floors, featuring 34 vendors. Admission is always free for visitors, and there's free parking as well!
What you'll find here is a fun, inviting community of artisans, creators, crafters, makers and more!
Our Venue

The Barn is a perfect venue for our Market, and we love it! It lends a certain rustic charm to every event held within its walls.
In the summer months we love to open the big barn doors and welcome our visitors! Make sure to stop in and say hi, no matter what the season!

Applications close on the 10th of each month, and all applicants

Applications are available on the first of each month for the market(s) two months out. Example: September Market applications will be available as of July 1. Applications close on the 10th of each month, and all applicants will be notified as to whether or not they are accepted. The exception are our Christmas Markets, which open for applications on September 1st, and close on the 10th, as they are the first and second week of the month instead of the fourth due to the holidays.
Our focus is local vendors, with preference to unique, hand-crafted and made in Alberta products. We do not accept MLM, Direct Sales or third-party sellers. Our Market is curated, and we do our best each month to ensure a good fit and balance of vendors.
Our fee is $80 per space (night markets are $90), which provides you with a 6’ or 8’ table (8’ tables first come, first served at time of registration, due to a limited number), as well as paid advertising on our website and Social Media accounts, local craft and event websites, and on-street signage before and during the Market.

2025 Dates
Our 2025 dates have been released! To apply, please email us at thebarnartisanmarketcalgary@gmail.com. Applications open up two months prior, on the first of the month, for each date. The only exception is our December date, which opens at the same time as our November date.
